The Museum of Contemporary Arts' (MOCA) Annual Gala took place in LA and brought out all the major fashionistas of la-la-land! All were decked out in their finest Chanel togs, as the label sponsored the event. My favourite of the bunch would have to be: Kirsten Dunst (she looked so good after such a long time!), Rachel Bilson, who stood out in the sea of white choices (and whose choice of footwear really sold it to me, so fierce!) and Malin Ackerman, the white looked great against her California tan. If I had to be picky, I'd say that Rachel should have put her hair in a chic updo, it's a little boring. The rest, Mila Kunis, Kate Bosworth, Chloe Sevigny and Ginnifer Goodwin also looked good... but really, there's not much criticism to make here, it's Chanel after all.
*Correction: Malin Ackerman's wearing a Ralph Lauren dress, not a Chanel

Country music's pretty big in the States and last week, the genre's biggest night took place in the form of the Country Music Awards (CMA's). The event brought out a slew of singers/actresses onto the red carpet and here are some of their fashion choices. Gwyneth Paltrow was the biggest attraction of the night, she promoted her new movie, "Country Strong" by singing at the event! On the red carpet, Paltrow shined and showed her true A-List roots in a beautiful, shimmering pale Atelier Versace dress that showcased her toned bod to the best! Taylor Swift somehow disappointed me, her strapless red Monique Lhuillier gown was nice but that's about it - there was nothing youthful, exciting or innovative about it and thus fell flat, sorry Tay! Carrie Underwood, the host of the night wore a gun metal hued ruffled Talbot Runhof gown on the red carpet and while it wasn't my favourite, it certainly was different and stood out amongst the other silhouettes. Katherine Heigl showed up to support her husband's brother who was nominated in a satin, midnight blue gown and she looked gooood; the dress fit her perfectly and her accessories were lovely. Leighton Meester, who also stars in "Country Strong" wore an asymmetrical Pucci gown with Jimmy Choo heels (LOVE), my only complaint would be the ashy make-up, Leighton has the capacity to look much more radiant! Nicole Kidman supported her husband, Keith Urban in a lacy white Dolce & Gabbana number and added bright heels to the look, she looked nice but I always prefer Nicole in those flowy, ethereal Chanel type gowns. So there ya go, lecture's over :-)Source: people.com
Unless you've been hiding under some sort of magic blanket, you would've known that the new Harry Potter flick comes out pretty soon (it's based on the seventh book but has been split into two movies). So all the stars gathered in London last week for the movie's British premiere. Centre of attention was Emma Watson, as always, and she certainly didn't disappoint. Emma was decked in a short, lacy Rafael Lopez for Atelier Mayer feathered minidress and wore matching Charlotte Olympia heels. Outfit aside, how much does Emma rock her new pixie hair-do?! The answer would be, very much indeed. Her co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint also smartened up in sharp suits, but lets be serious, is anyone even looking at them when Emma's in the same picture? Moving on, supporting actors, Bonnie Wright, who plays Potter's love interest looked lovely in a plain black ensemble, but a little boring! Clemence Poesy, who plays Fleur Delacour represented Chanel in her elegant navy dress and Katie Leung, who was Harry'e ex Cho Chang also looked pretty in an olive hued dress, she paired it with black tights and a dark lip colour. At another event earlier, Emma wore a navy one-shouldered Vionnet dress which she accessorised perfectly with some edgy earrings and necklace - fabulous! All in all, Emma has once again shown the world what a fashion maven she really is!Sources: sky.com/showbiz, people.com
The weather's getting chilly and it gets dark quickly, winter's finally arrived. Here's Olivia Palermo and her gorgeous boyfriend, Johannes Huebl (go ahead and take a moment to gaze into his eyes) working chic autumn wear like they only know how - on someone else, the fur-trimmed coat would have looked not so chic (hint, Kim Kardashian, or any Kardashians for the matter), but Palermo takes the simple design to new style heights. And paired with the sleek hair, make-up and that delicious crocodile print clutch (not to mention, the arm candy), Palermo's ensemble is an outright winner, not that she ever gets it wrong! Then there's the pretty Rachel McAdams, wearing sensible semi-formal autumn wear, but adding a quirk to the look with the bright red pumps - love it!Source: sky.com/showbiz
Spotted, Blake Lively taking a major fashion misstep. Blasphemous, I know. Not sure what Lively was thinking here but the glitzy skirt over the oversize shirt along with the tan belt is just a bad bad bad idea! Let's hope this does not happen again, not from fashion's current it girl!

Spotted: Eva Mendes looking fabulous again in Italy for the premiere of her new movie, 'La Dolce Vita'. She wore two stunners in a row, the blush pink one being a Atelier Versace and the second a wine coloured strapless Gucci gown. One word - flawless.Source: justjared.buzznet.com
