Best Dressed at the Grammy Awards 2012

Taylor Swift looked better than ever on Sunday's Grammy Awards. She exchanged her usual girly strap-less dress for a sophisticated gown and she also exchanged her signature curls for a tight bun which is I think looks much better. My first thought was that this must be an Alexander McQueen design, but it was actually made by Zuhair Murad, and I absolutely love it!
Jessie J showed up on the red carpet wearing one of the most beautiful Julien Macdonald dresses I've ever seen. Though it isn't necessarily as crazy as the outfits she usually opts for, it is just as lively and attention-grabbing. She lit up the whole carpet with her sparkling silver ensemble, and her hair and accessories were flawless too!
Rihanna showed off her beautiful body in a plunging custom-made Giorgio Armani which also featured a high slit and open back, but despite the dress being very revealing, she managed to stay on the classy side. The color of her hair could be better but she looks very pretty in her curls, and I love the accessories.
Katy Perry looked phenomenal in an Elie Saab gown and $2 million worth of Norman Silverman jewels. The slightly conservative baby blue dress which featured a cute bow at the waist was an interesting change from her otherwise more crazy outfits. Of course, her untraditional hair color contributed to the crazy so it wasn't all innocent, but for some weird reason I kind of like the bright blue hair with this dress - it's pretty cool, isn't it?
The night's big winner, Adele, looked better than ever at this year's Grammys, just like miss Swift! She was so stunning in her custom-made Giorgio Armani gown and the blonde hair and red lips were the perfect contrasts to the shimmering black. Also, her Louboutin inspired nails were very cool - check it out:

Malin Åkerman was one of the few who chose to wear an above-the-knee dress, and to be honest I would normally prefer a long one for the Grammys, but in this case I'll make an exception. Her Cushnie et Ochs dress with cut-out details fits her perfectly and she looks very edgy yet sophisticated. While I love the shoes, I feel like they're weighing down the look a little, so a simpler pair might have been more appropriate, but other than that I love the whole ensemble.
The ever-chic Gwyneth Paltrow looked very beautiful in Stella McCartney. Unfortunately the dress featured illusion netting on the sides and you all know how much I hate that, so that really bothered me. With her body she would have pulled this look off anyway, but now instead you could see the fabric wrinkling. But as can be seen above, she looked gorgeous from afar, and the shiny golden belt was the perfect touch!
Kelly Rowland looked very elegant in her Alberta Ferretti gown and a perfectly matched big coctail ring. Her gorgeous earrings matched the silver floral embroidered bodice, and her hair and makeup was flawless.
Carrie Underwood showed up in a relatively normal, long-sleeved gown by Gomez-Garcia, but despite the lack of originality, she looked gorgeous. The open back is a nice touch and the black clutch matches her dress perfectly!
Fergie was one of the night's most boldly dressed celebrities in her see-through Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown. I wish she would've worn the bikini panties that the look was presented with on the runway, instead of the high-wasted ones, but I really love the design of the dress so I'll try to see past that. Also, if any baby rumors still remained, she sure put them to rest now as she showcased her perfectly fit body.
