Anna Wintour in Prada & Bee Shaffer in Erdem - 2012 Met Ball

Anna Wintour, who serves as a trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and who organises the Costume Institute's annual gala wore a Prada dress.  This wasn't surprising seeing as this year's event was dedicated to Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada.

She wore the white column gown with a fur bolero.

Her daughter, Bee Shaffer wore a dress by British designer Erdem Moralioglu.  I love the colour and the signature florals.

Anna Wintour's Obama party

You may have heard that Anna Wintour hosted a party for Barack Obama in New York yesterday to raise money for his campaign, but, have you heard what the tickets cost? - Wait for it... wait for it - $35,800 each. That didn't stop celebs like Alicia Keys, Vera Wang, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow from attending though. Then again, it was for a great cause and they can afford it, so why not? The president himself stayed for about two hours, which, in my opinion, is a little lame. I mean, he left around 9 pm, from what was basically his own party. I realize he has a busy life and whatnot, but he could've at least stayed until 11 pm.
