Jessica Chastain in Carven - 'Live with Kelly' Appearance

Jessica Chastain promoted 'Madagascar 3' in New York City on 'Live with Kelly' on Thursday.

She looked fresh and youthful in a Carven Fall 2012 ensemble of a laser-cut black top with a white collar and a dark blue shorts.  

I think this is the first time I have used the adjectives 'fresh' and 'youthful' in conjunction with Jessica.  Side parted hair, pink lips and nude Brian Atwood pumps completed her day look.

Hayden Panettiere in Vintage & Carven - 2012 CMT Music Awards

Hayden Pamettiere was present at the CMT Music Awards, held in Nashville on Wednesday evening.

She wore a black spaghetti strap vintage top with beading and paired it with an off-white swing skirt by Carven.  Overall, the effect wasn't bad but her curly hair just ruined the look for me.

The Katherine Heigl-esque hair is doing nothing for you Hayden, please grow it out.  A pink lip colour and black pumps completed the look.

Zooey Deschanel in Carven - FOX Upfront Presentation

Zooey Deschanel attended the 2012 FOX Upfronts for 'New Girl' in NYC.

She wore a Carven Spring 2012 dress that featured a white shirt with a cut-out neck and a flared mini skirt.

Zooey as usual paired it with tights, and wore Miu Miu heels.  I like how she added colour via the pink lipstick, otherwise this look would have been very dull.

Jessica Alba in Carven & Narciso Rodriguez - 2012 Outstanding Mother Awards

While she was in NYC, Jessica Alba attended the Big City Moms' Biggest Shower Ever event, followed by the Outstanding Mother Awards.

For the day, she wore a Carven Spring 2012 blouse with a lemon yellow A-line skirt.  I love the blouse and the skirt but why she wore them with so much black is beyond me.  Lose the blazer and tights and you have a winner.  An updo, Giuseppe Zanotti cap-toe heels and a Proenza Schouler PS1 satchel were the finishing touches.

In the evening, Jess wore a grey Narciso Rodriguez Pre-Fall 2012 dress.  The A-line dress is a staple for her and suits her well.  I love how she wore it with marigold Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, thereby picking up the colour from the dress.

Camilla Belle in Carven - 2012 Tribeca Film Festival Awards

Camilla Belle brightened up the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival Awards, held at the Conrad Hotel in NYC.

It was a colourful, printed Carven Fall 2012 dress for her, worn with red Christian Louboutin pumps.

Some might not like this dress for being bold and bright but I have a never ending love affair with colours.  I loved the combination of Camilla's dark locks with this dress.

Elizabeth Olsen In Proenza Schouler - W Magazine's pre-Golden Globes Party

Elizabeth Olsen is on a roll.

She wore a Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 dress for the pre-Golden Globes party hosted by W Magazine.

Love the dress.  

The black bodice, and large print floral skirt look brilliant together.  I just have one gripe though:  the keyhole detail looks neat on the runway, but a little shapeless, and risky on Elizabeth.

She wore her hair in a loose side plait, gold earrings, pink lip colour, a metallic blue Edith Parker clutch and Carven pumps completed her look.

Lily Collins In Carven -'Seminar' Opening Night

Actress Lily Collins walked the red carpet for the opening night of the Broadway play, 'Seminar', wearing a Carven Spring 2012 dress.

The colourful frock with white lace sleeves & an electric blue peter-pan collar looked cute and quirky on Lily.

She wore it with tights, bow-topped heels and a bronze Mulberry purse.

Sienna Miller wore a black romper from her fashion line Twenty8Twelve at a party in London, and went very chic with her updo, gold hoops and heels.  The hairstyle was a welcome change from her usually messy hair.

Zoe Saldana brightened up the Lanvin party in LA, by wearing a colour block fringe dress by the label, with cool ankle-strap heels and an even cooler statement necklace.

Kate Bosworth & Rachel Bilson partied with their favourite jacket designer: Vanessa Bruno.

Kate looked stylish in an embroidered white shift, worn with volumised hair, a delicate shoulder bag, tights and heels.

Rachel Bilson's outfit didn't quite work out.  The olive coloured blouse & jacket are all fine, but the boy shorts and berry coloured boots are ruining this look.

The 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1' promotional tour continues.

Ashley Greene was in Chicago in simple white sheath, worn with a sleek ponytail, a black box clutch and red lips; but the shoes aren't working: too pointy!

Nikki Reed stuck to her breezy style, in a polka-dot Dolce & Gabbana frock, she too wore pointy black pumps, how disappointing.

Nicole Richie promoted her line, Winter Kate, at Nordstrom in a floaty-sleeve, printed mini from the line, and added colour and interest via the citrus satin pumps.

Emma Stone attended the Museum of Natural History gala in a persimmon hued Carven maxidress, paired with a large, moss coloured clutch.  As cute as she looks, the empire waist of the dress isn't flattering, and that clutch is too large & too casual.  But the colourful Tabitha Simmons heels are spot on.
