2012 Women in Film Crytsal + Lucy Awards

The 2012 Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards took place in Beverley Hills last night.

Chloe Moretz wore an off-shoulder black satin cocktail dress by Max Mara and looked super cute, especially because of the black headband.  Chloe hardly ever disappoints in the shoe section - she wore Rupert Sanderson sandals.

Jenna Dewan wore a Max Mara jumpsuit with a halter neck accompanied by a yellow clutch.  The hair is killing this look for me.

Meryl Streep was elegant in a long sleeved, ivory Max Mara dress with a black waist band but Viola Davis looked sexy in a strapless black Max Mara dress.

Max Mara Cocktail Party

Lots of beautiful ladies came out for the Max Mara cocktail party, at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood on June 11th.  The party was in honour of Chloe Moretz for winning the Women in Film 2012 MaxMara Face of the Future Award.

Nina Dobrev was beautiful in an angelic ensemble of a ruffle top and fitted white skirt.  She accessorised with a turquoise clutch and silver Miu Miu sandals.

Chloe looked sweet in a three-quarter dress in a fresh, aqua colour.  It was worn with wavy locks and white peep-toes with yellow platforms.

Jennifer Morrison was radiant in a strapless, orange dress with pleating that she wore with a sleek bun and nude peep-toes.

Olivia Munn attended the event in an aubergine hued strapless, chiffon dress.  Sparkle was added via her glittering, gold Sergio Rossi heels.

Kate Bosworth & Chloe Moretz in Calvin Klein - 'Infinite Loop' by Calvin Klein

Kate Bosworth and Chloe Moretz travelled to Seoul in South Korea to attend a one night exhibition called 'Infinite Loop' by Calvin Klein.

Kate led the charge in a Calvin Klein Fall 2012 dress which featured a leather bodice and a pale, almost mint skirt, decorated with a silver waist band.  The almost futuristic look was great on her.  She accessorised with a simple clutch and black pumps.

Chloe Moretz was cheery in a bright Calvin Klein Fall 2012 dress.  She left her look very simple, and just chose to wear cream heels.

Chloe Moretz in McQ - 'Dark Shadows' London Premiere

Chloe Moretz was back on the (purple) carpet for the London premiere of her movie 'Dark Shadows'.

She made quite the impact in a burgundy McQ Fall 2012 design.  The velvet dress with broderie anglais detail was stunning and age-appropriate.

She wore it with wavy locks, a thick leather belt and ankle-strap heels from the collection.

Chloe Moretz changed into a bright Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 dress as she attended the post-premiere party of 'Dark Shadows'.

I adore this dress.  The sunny colours and floral print, and the streamlined finish of the dress are wonderful.  Chloe Moretz is one lucky girl.

She completed the look with the same hair, make-up and shoes that she wore at the movie's premiere.

Chloe Moretz skipped the Met Ball on Monday in favour of the premiere of her new Tim Burton movie 'Dark Shadows'.

She wore a cool blue Stella McCartney Fall 2012 dress with three-quarter sleeves, wearing it with straight hair and her new favourite: Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals.

Chloe Moretz in Christopher Kane - 'The Late Show with David Letterman' Appearance

Chloe Moretz wore a Christopher Kane Fall 2012 dress as she made an appearance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' for promoting her movie 'Hick'.

The young actress wore the high-neck, leopard print dress very well but I wish she had worn the runway version - the glitzy red pattern just looks like it is made for the lights of a studio.

Keeping things simple as always, she completed the look with black Jimmy Choo 'Lance' heels.

Chloe Moretz attended the screening of her latest movie 'Hick' (which also stars Blake Lively), sponsored by the Cinema Society and Phase 4 Films.

I thought Chloe looked very elegant in this floral printed Dolce & Gabbana dress with bubble sleeves, a square neckline and ruching.

Neutral make-up and nude Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals completed her look.

Chloe Moretz in Kenzo - 2012 CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

Chloe Moretz attended the 2012 CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards in Las Vegas last night where she was given the Female Star of Tomorrow award.

Chloe looked adorable in a violet, jacquard Kenzo Pre-Fall 2012 dress with a red medallion pattern.  This is what I admire about Chloe - she is always age-appropriate but has fun with clothes and is never stuck in a rut.

A cute hairstyle and Jimmy Choo sandals were the completing touches.

Chloe Moretz in Yves Saint Laurent - The Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of 'Manon'

I thought that 15 year olds were too young to be interested in opera, but apparently not.

Chloe Moretz attended the premiere of 'Manon' by Jules Massenet in a Yves Saint Laurent dress.

The navy coloured, strapless gown with a bow bodice, tiers and an asymmetrical hem was great on the young actress who wore it with a choker.  I also like that she pulled her hair back into a ponytail.

Chloe Moretz debuted pink highlights in a Vivienne Westwood dress as she attended the Costume Designers Guild Awards.

The velvet dress with an uneven hem felt a little age inappropriate on Chloe - there's nothing youthful about it.  I'm not a fan of her matching heels either (with that dress).

Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum & Chloe Moretz - Jason Wu for Target Launch Party

Jason Wu's capsule collection for Target was officially launched yesterday and was attended by Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum & Chlose Moretz.  The collection sticks to the designer's aesthetic of comfortable and feminine clothes that are easy on the eye and wearable; to see the entire lookbook click here.

Blake Lively wore a black & white peplum dress with a beaded skirt from the designer's Spring 2012 collection.  She wore her hair in a loose ponytail and added some delish Lorraine Schwartz earrings.  Blake should have worn simple black heels for this dress as those animal-print pumps are mismatched.

Emmy Rossum wore a look from the collection.  The dotted, blush coloured blouse, tucked into the jaqcuard skirt was glamourised by Emmy.  The half-up, half-down style is fine but the earrings should have been given a miss.

Chloe Moretz also chose to wear an ensemble from the collection.  She looks cute in this white blouse & black pleated skirt combination that she wore with a braided bun and bow-topped heels.

The embellished knit and thinly striped pencil skirt look a little out of place on the young actress though.

Chloe Moretz wore a Versus Spring 2012 look for the 2012 AFI Awards.

The lemon yellow, digital print top & skirt look great on the young actress.

I admire how Chloe always keeps things youthful and modern, and so far hasn't succumbed to the obligatory gown that's so regular in Hollywood.

She wore hair in a half-up, half-down style, added tights and two tone heels.

Chloe Moretz wore a dress from the Chanel Fall 2011 collection for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

The slate grey, satin frock was typically frivolous - with puff sleeves, gauzy layers and embellishments.  Cool, but I wish Chloe had worn a dress from the Spring 2012 collection - the dresses are brighter and cheery (a theme of the night).

A neat hairstyle and black Rupert Sanderson ankle-straps completed her look.

It's definitely been a day of store openings.

Chloe Moretz attended the opening of Tommy Hilfiger's flagship store in London wearing a Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2011 ensemble.

I love this combination of head-to-toe burgundy separates:  the knit cape is very stylish, as are those leather pants.

The striped, peter-pan collar shirt, worn with the white shorts that had black pockets, was a look taken straight from the runway.

Chloe wears it quite well, with tights and cork-heeled shoes.
