Daphne Guinness wardrobe on display at FIT

Daphne Guinness
is getting her own exhibit at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Museum in New York next month. FIT explains that it's like a tribute to Daphne, because she's one of a kind and dares to take risks with fashion. This is what they said:

"Because she is fearless about wearing the most extreme clothes and shoes, but is no mere clothes horse. Because she is a serious collector of couture, who is also a creative force in her own right. Because she is an extraordinary individual whose perspective on fashion is unique and important."

There will be 100 pieces in the exhibit, 24 of which are Alexander McQueen designs. Other designers include Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, John Galliano, Christian Dior, Nina Ricci and Valentino.
