Reminder of Fall 2011 Trends

These fall 2011 trends were shown earlier this year during New York Fashion Week, and since fall's just around the corner now, I thought I'd post some of my favorite looks.

Crimson was a popular color in many shows during NYFW.

Great lenghts were also common. Here are Carolina

To the left is a cape-like coat by DKNY, and to the right is an army inspired
coat by Vera Wang. Both these types of coats were seen a lot during NYFW.

Mixing patterns was a hot trend last season and it still is.

Both Diane von Furstenberg (left) and Marc Jacobs (right) had polka dots in their designs.

And then there's the suit-trend. To the left is Fransisco Costa for
Calvin Klein Collection and to the right is Marc by Marc Jacobs.

The luxury trend, which included a lot of faux fur, was also very popular.
